GuideWrap Pro FAQ

Standard is the default and the right pick for most builders. It gives you 50 minutes of working time and a 4 hour recoat window, which fits an evening at the bench with room to spare. Choose Fast if you are running multiple rods and want to get two coats down in a day, since it recoats at 3.5 hours and sands at 12. Choose Lite if you want the thinnest, smoothest build possible, especially on decorative or intricate wraps. Its low-viscosity resin flows out flatter and gives you a full hour of open time. All three use the same 1:1 mix ratio and cure crystal clear.

The 4 oz kit is sized for the hobby builder finishing a handful of rods. The pint is the workhorse for anyone building regularly. Gallon and larger are for shops and production benches.

GuideWrap Pro is formulated with advanced UV inhibitors specifically to resist yellowing, fading, and finish breakdown under prolonged sunlight. It is the same UV package we have supplied to rod manufacturers for years. No clear finish is permanently immune to UV, but this one is built to hold its clarity through seasons of real fishing rather than months.
